Archie is a very correctly made gelding with a great disposition.  In 2006 he was the Grand Champion Haflinger Male at the Boone County Fair, and we liked him well enough that we had to go buy his younger sister when we got the chance last fall.  Like Andy, he drives single and double well, and has been used in our 6 horse hitch both of the last 2 years.  He has also been used with Andy as a wheel horse and a lead horse in 4 horse hitches, and as part of our 4 abreast teams the last 2 years.  Archie has been in 5 or 6 parades over the last two years, and on several day long trail drives.  Archie will start under saddle this fall.
